At 4 o 'clock on July 30th, a special meeting was held on strategic cooperation and common development between Pizhou Orient Port Co., Ltd. (Orient Port), a subordinate company of Orient Group, and Xu Tang Power Co., Ltd. (Xu Power Company), a subordinate company of Datang Group, in the meeting room on the 11th floor of the group company.

Founded in 1972, Xu Power Company was the predecessor of Xu Tang Power Plant. It has been awarded "National May 1 Labor Certificate" and "National Model Worker's Home" successively. The first phase of technical transformation project won "Luban Award of China Construction Project", and took the lead in the innovative implementation of "Three Fuel Projects" in the country.

Orient Port is located in the west of Xu Tang Power Plant, the left bank of the Grand Canal, and has a vast economic hinterland and convenient transportation. At present, it has bulk cargo and container operation areas, four thousand-ton berths, with a designed annual throughput of 3 million tons. The port business includes coal handling and container handling, etc. It is the coal distribution center of Shaanxi, Shanxi, Shandong, Hebei, Inner Mongolia and other places, the main inland river hub of north coal transportation and an important port of container trade transportation routes.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed and studied new energy cooperation, construction and operation of transshipment coal and other aspects based on the principles of production safety, environmental protection, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, equality and mutual benefit and win-win cooperation. Leaders of the two sides exchanged views on the concept of cooperation and the analysis of prospects, and discussed the next step of in-depth cooperation in a friendly atmosphere and reached a preliminary intention.
